The Legend
Bardstown Bourbon Company operates one of the most state of the art distilleries that I have had a chance to visit. Walls of glass greet you as you pull up and walk towards the entrance. The restaurant offers a unique and delicious menu and their bar invites you to try their full collection. If you find yourself with time to spare, their experiences do not disappoint. The barrel thieving is one of my favorites.
Legend has it that the labels on the first releases of the Fusion and Discovery series used to be shades of green. People confused the whiskey for ryes because most labels for ryes include green. Bardstown Bourbon Company then changed their labels for each series to a variation of blue and red respectively to remove the confusion.
